I had a 1994 L reg, and it had a 1.7l engine.

Had coded mirrors, airbags and clear lenses, so was updated model

I don't think the 2.0l engine was ever in the S, but I could be wrong

I haven't looked at it properly, but I've seen a similar one where what ever number you pick is always divisable by 9, and all those numbers have the same symbol associated with them.

Every time you run the game, the symbols change, so you don't pick up on it.

Something like that anyway.

No, that's great, thank you!

I probably should have posted it in the "for other cars" section, but basically I'm having trouble with the climate control on my Octavia. People know how to access the diagnostics mode, but the only explaination of what the numbers mean is either in German or French!

It does seem to be taking an awully long time.

Almost seems like they are concentrating more on flogging gas/electricity etc than getting cheaper petrol!

N1 Joolz, reminded me of the start of some comedy programme I saw lastnight ('Man feels like woman' or something). Started with people trying to sneak out of the house after a one night stand. One chap woke up next to a real minger and managed to get dressed and tip-toed downstairs without waking h...

As mentioned above, the three letters in the reg signify where the car was registered, much like the two letters they have at the start of the new regs. My missuses dad has one of those old RAC Book of the roads from the 80's, and in the back it litsts what each letter combination means. GFR is Bolt...
