Hi!
No problems, the LED uses only a tiny amount of power. Ex there is the flashing LED to alarmsystem etc.

Check the cable between the boot and chassie. Not unusual that you may have cabel problems.

Yepp! Try to oil it with silicon oil, if its to slow there is high pressure in the lift systems. Thats not good, it have a bad habit of braking then. Take a look at the window, when lifting, if it "turns" in the guiding system (lower on the side towards the rear) Try to lift it rigth, any change? /J...

You can take a look at this site, sorry it´s in swedish! There is number of the three parts that usally is gone.
If possible, get under the car and sway the bar, then you see where there is movment.
