Foam doesn't have to be in there. The Hausser kit only has the Metal bar to hold it in place. The original bumps have the space inside for the foam. I don't know if it is really usefull in an inpact, but I think the bumps wont fit without the foam cause the foam keeps the metal bar in place...

I tought a cleaned Volvo would look nicer with a cleaned Volvo bodykit, so I started cleaning the Volvo kit.

Front is ready for basepaint, rear needs some attention ...

How much do they cost new in England? If they are cheaper overthere, I might bring over a pair when comming over to the lincoln meet

Are you running a chipped ECU ? Cause I think all above 0.8 isn't normal for a standard turbo and it could be your chip limiting your pressure and stalling your engine for safety reasons ...
