I emailed him as he's near me, when I thought my CEM1 had packed in (it had not) and he said that he reckoned if I told him what's wrong with it, ie which functions don't work, he could fix it.

Jay, The RAC will recover your car to the uk regardless of its value. Some recovery companies put a limit on their costs upto tne value of the car, but i beleive RAC do not.
