I've just paid under £100 for mine a few weeks ago, including delivery ! That's an eye-watering price for what is a used cover, no matter how hard they are to get hold of.

Definitely the needle catching on something. The speedometer is driven by a PWM signal, which doesn't suddenly stop and jump. Yes, my only thought was the needle catching the peeling face as that's just about right where the 50 mph is.

As my 480 passed its MOT today and was also serviced and checked over my good lady wife and intend coming up up to the meet at the Kelpies.

We are toying with the idea of coming up to the Kelpies and onto Knockhill, not up to Aberdeen though.
Can't commit yet but the 480 is booked in for an MOT, service and thorough check over on 11/10 so we'll see how that goes
