Dashboard fascia

Hello, hope all is going well.
Does anyone have a spare dashboard front black plastic fascia that isn't cracked ?
Especially not in the top left hand corner.
Cheers, Richard.

Re: What's this piece?

Hi. I don't know what they are, but my guess would be that they are off-cuts from some rubber off a different car, that someone was trying to make into widow scrappers. That's the rubber at the bottom of the door windows. Under the yellow and red is it sticky tape ? Do your window scrappers look ori...

Re: International Meet up - 17/18/19 May 2024 - Bruggen

Have drawn on the back of an envelope a graph of the numbers signed up so far each month and then drawn a line on wards until May. So I sort of calculate you will have 90 Volvo 480 owners signed to attend by May. Lets see over the coming few months if it plateaus off, keeps on its steady climb upwar...

Re: International Meet up - 17/18/19 May 2024 - Bruggen

Hello. Of the UK people signed up to attend, have any of you decided or booked up your method of crossing the channel ?
Ferry from Hull seems quite expensive.
Cheers, Richard.

Correction : Then tighten up the screw by hand into the arm, it was at an awkward angle but just about doable.

Seat belt arm repair

Hi, unfortunately one of my 480 seat belt arm lugs broke off recently. So removed the roller and pushed in an inch long wood screw with a doomed head bigger than the hole in towards the arm. Then slowly drilled a pilot hole into the arm where the lug previously connected using the thinnest drill bit...

Re: Pudsey (rescue 480 R2 formerly known as PUD) update.

First time it went fully flat was at an auto jumble so I just bought an old style car foot pump from one of the stands. So now have two new tyres on the back, as I was told once by some older timer i...

Re: Meet up north ?

Hi. Probably only going to be at the Volvo Huddersfield meet up for a little while, as my plans have had to change as I am now on Saturday the 22nd helping with the first tidy up for 20 odd years of a 'barn find' Jensen Interceptor mk 1. It's quite odd, but it feels like I am going to meet a minor r...
