Re: What's the oldest remaining 480?

77 km really would be nuts! Do they really mean 77000 km? Not the oldest by any means, but fairly old, is my 1987(E) 480ES, chassis 513546. What is remarkable is it has under 19000 miles (30000 kilometers) on the clock. As far as I can tell, it is genuine, give or take a few when the dashboard stop...
Well I hear there is a new Caffeine and Machine at Meon Cross if that interests you, I have never been a fan of the place - attracts far too many remapped BMWs but I guess it is a good location?
I have not been into the new Caffeine and Machine but I wasn't a huge fan of the old on...

Oh it’s that one? The black one? That’s so cool that it is back on the road but for the first time really!
This one at the top of the listings I assume James?

Re: Hampshire meet up in the Winchester area

I am based about an hour east of Winchester along the A272 and would love to meet fellow 480's there - we have entered ours into the Festival of the Unexceptional but don't yet know if we have been accepted....! If not then a Winchester meet would be good. I have not entered my 480 GT - I just plan...

I heard the LHD cars for the UK event were crushed! That event must pre-date the UK launch cars.

Re: What's the oldest remaining 480?

Thanks James - do you know the first registered dates for the 2 red UK launch cars by any chance?

I was watching a UK launch video recently and I think the cars were left hand drive

What's the oldest remaining 480?

Alberto Locati in Italy is keen to find out the answer to this question. Alberto is the President of the 480 Club Italia.

One of the Italian 480 ES cars was registered on 7 November 1986. Is anyone aware of an older car and what's the oldest car that you are aware of in your country?

Re: Hampshire meet up in the Winchester area

Good news! Any suggestions for a meeting place and a route for a drive? I like Winchester very much but I don't know the area particularly well.

Hampshire meet up in the Winchester area

Is this potentially of interest to anyone? Ellie's keen to meet other 480 owners as sadly she had to turn back in Belgium last Friday on the way to the European meeting due to steering problems. Duncan is in Basingstoke and has had his white 480 from new. He's keen too. I am in Fareham. So Wincheste...

94 cars from Italy, Switzerland, Finland, Sweden, Belgium, France, the UK and of course Germany and the Netherlands. What a day! I have counted 96, including the red 480 Cabriolet and a guy from Belgium (who was about to travel on to take a flight to Canada) who arrived later. I am so happy I have ...

The weather forecast is wet at times over the weekend so do bring suitable clothing and coats etc with you. It's been typical May weather this week - beautiful warm days and th...
