Re: Rescue Car: R4 - our first turbo rescue !
It's calculated on the purchase price plus any additional expenses like shipping/transport.
it's starting to sound quite reasonable and rational.
As far as I know, all cars wanting to pass the TÜV need to have their headlights adjusted properly. but that's less than 50€ at a mechanic.

Re: Rescue Car: R4 - our first turbo rescue !
Transport costs, though if it got mot and can drive that's not a problem. Since it's outside EU now, 19% vat, luckily the 10% customs fees should get waived since it's originally already from "inside EU" i'd hope Switzerland counts enough for that. To get it registered in Germany it needs to get a f...

With the general unavailability of reasonably priced 480s in Germany and it being left hand drive, I've got my eye on it.
Now if importing it and getting it registered wouldn't be so difficult...

Re: 3d printed spare and repair parts
My apologies. I mean to reply to Jay-Kay-Em about eBay. Its been a while since I've used a forum :) Anyway if someone is curious this is what the parts look like from the printer. The white discolorations are just where I removed supports and can be sanded/polished away of lacquered over. Models are...

Re: 3d printed spare and repair parts
You'll find yourself with LOTS of 480 friends with a post like that! I'd start by doing headlamp hinges and heater buttons - they're the usual high demand ones! I don't mind making friends or printing those for someone or a few and shipping them to someone in the UK as a kind of supply point if Ort...

Owning to many 3D-printers for my own good I want to offer my help to anyone needing any kind of printed part (plastic, resin, flesxible, multi-color/-material, highly detailed o...
