Wow, what a read! Utterly incredible work, what I’d give to have my car look THIS good! :bla:
As the proud owner I can confirm it is a truly remarkable story and Nikela is awesome! Would recommend a rescue car to anyone 😁

Re: Rescue cars

Yeah unbelievable what they do to these rescue cars. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them and the aftercare is better than any garage, always on hand to sort out issue and advise.

Re: Rescue cars

I bought R6 for £3750 but it is a GT after all and along with all the usual mechanical repairs it did end up pretty much having a full respray so bodywork mint. Check out the R6 thread and you’ll see the first and last photos of it are like night and day. The work and effort was outstanding.

Nikela Rehomed

I am delighted to say that Nikela (formerly R6) has safely been transported to me today from up North. The condition of the car is a credit to all those who put the effort in and worked on her. You could eat your dinner off the engine (not that I will try  ) Sylvia, Jeff and David (and anyone ...

Re: For Sale: 1994 480 GT - Rescue Car R6

R6 has a nice new owner now waiting in the wings...thank you Just Somebody :D David Many thanks. It was just too good an opportunity to pass up. The thread outlining all the work done by the amazing team is a real eye opener. It’s been pretty much stripped bare and no stone has been left unturned. ...

Rescue Cars

Hi everyone, can anyone let me know the current situation with the rescue cars? I am looking for a 480 and a rescue car would be a good obvious choice knowing it's been checked out and any major issues sorted by people who know these cars. Ideally looking for an auto but I realise how rare they are....

Re: 1992 480ES - no MOT since 2017. Thoughts?

I seen this on Facebook Marketplace and it's only a few miles from me. I messaged the guy and he said the speedo an info centre don't work. I decided against though as I got enough trouble with the one I got already

Heated window

Hi all, still trying to get to grips with 480 ownership and battling with issues. Anyway the heated rear window hasn't worked since I got the car. No light comes on the dash when I press the button but I do hear a clicking from the passenger footwell so presumably the switch is working and power is ...

Re: Bulbs

struggle isn't the word for it. Can't find the 0.36w bulbs for love nor money. Not totally sure I've found the right glove box ones either to be honest. On the plus point I have easily found the 1.2w ones :D

Seat lever

Hey guys I have just got my hands on my first ever 480. A complete beginner with these cars but a few issues I’m hoping you can help me with. My passenger seat has no lever to move the back so somebody can get in the back. Just a hole where the lever should be. Is this part available or can it even ...
