Re: Baby inbound!

Congratulations!

I had no idea about the seatbelt issue. Just a thought have you considered retrofitting Isofix?

Wanted - New Driveshafts

Hi, I have some OK used spare driveshafts but I really want some new ones. I've scoured this forum which lead me to SKF. I believe the part numbers are VKJC 6686 (nearside) & VKJC 6687 (offside). Unfortunately it appears they are out of VKJC6687 and aren't manufacturing them anymore. Questions being...

Re: 1990 Turbo Auto

I've heard really good things about Pptuning, they're based in Louth. They specialise in VW campers but if you check out their Instagram they do all sorts.

This isn't necessarily a recommendation though as I haven't used them myself, just might be worth checking them out.

Re: 1990 Turbo Auto

I'd love some front snow trays if anyone is ever selling! I found some but they never arrived and I was refunded. Are these snow trays or have I got completely the wrong thing? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/133549923147 Shame the front passenger side is damaged. Hope you get back on the road soon.

That's not too far away from me. I've no space for a second project but I soooo want to give it a polish!

Re: New member, looking for a 480

Hi and welcome. I'm also new here having joined this forum a few months ago so I can't give you anymore advice than the experienced members. I've owned both 190s and 480s and I made a similar choice to you earlier this year. I bought my 3rd 480 after a 10yr break. I love 190s, fantastic cars but per...

Re: My spanking volvo 480 has lots of electrical problems

Hi, I had the same problem - hazards working and indicators not working. I found myself here looking for answers so thought I'd post what I found. I did a similar fault finding, check continuity of indicator switch, check all pins from hazard switch are making and breaking correctly, finally I looke...

Re: 91 White Turbo Spanish

Hi, I love the story and your car looks great. I like the steering wheel, it's a bit of a design classic in my opinion. Instantly recognisable. Everyone's tastes are slightly different aren't they. It's great to get opinions of other people and bounce ideas off people here but ultimately the only pe...

It wasn't that black one that was the subject of a post on here a couple weeks back? that is a serious job to put right
The one painted matt black? No not that one. I'd be more descriptive but truth is I haven't finished looking around mine yet.

Re: Centre Cap Stickers

Please don’t let me put you off ordering! I positively welcome competition! Heck, if they’re good and cheaper than I could do, then it’s one less thing for me to worry about. Cool, I'll have a think. Now I know someone is doing a proper job I think I'll be disappointed with anything less. Welcome M...

Re: Centre Cap Stickers

Ah, sorry I had no idea. I'll hold off then. I didnt mean to tread on anyone's toes. I've read so many different threads recently about all the issues my car has I must have missed it if you've already posted that you're making these on here. I don't use Facebook so I haven't seen any posts. Cheers,

Centre Cap Stickers

Hello all, I'm new here having recently acquired a wedge in need of recomissioning. In my search for spares I stumbled across this: https://www.ladesivo.com/home/275-volvo-480-turbo-adesivi-cerchi-auto-d-epoca.html Volvo 480 Centre Cap stickers. I believe they have recently started making them but I...
