It's the drivers!

So how come they are always on the wrong side of the road on bends and/or in my bloody way then! It's not the fault of the car if it's being driven by a complete duffer! Normal Focus diesels are really family cars driven by people who think 40mph is too fast but the diesel sport is a different beas...

It's over now.

It didn't have any problems I couldn't have fixed myself apart from the welding. I just didn't want to. I got to the point where I hated it. It was a bitch. It disappointed me. It cost me too much money. It got me down. I'm glad it's gone. Yes, I'm too honest. But that makes me a good person to know...

It's done now.

Well it's gone and I've lost out. No point harping on about it now. No-one showed any interest on here and even 1900sr only bid £100 so it clearly wasn't worth anything to the regulars here. If I'd had the room I would have kept it and sold spares from it but I just don't have anywhere to keep an...

Wasting money...

I sometimes wonder if cars make you stupid. I wouldn't waste that kind of money on anything else. I've been doing it for years. No doubt I'll be whinging about how much the Chevette has cost me this time next year. Another whimsical eBay purchase. Drove it a couple of miles and every rubber componen...

Replacement...

... Focus Diesel Sport. It's faster, handles better, costs a lot less to run and will last a lot longer and won't require me to stick my head under the bonnet every 5 minutes. It's an absolute joy to drive and I've had more fun with it in the two weeks I've had it so far than the four months I owned...

Hmm, what do you do?

I'm always scrupulously honest in just about everything. I don't rip people off. Pity the guy I bought it from (on eBay) wasn't. I'd never have touched it with a barge pole otherwise. Never again. Never.

Spotted- CityLink Swansea - 480 in their car park.

Went to Shitty Link in Swansea to pick up a parcel tonight. I'm not going to go into why I call them that, although it's very well deserved.

I spotted a 480 in their car park while I was there. Dark metallic red, N reg. Is it anyone here?

Lemon II

Know exactly what you mean mate. Check my posts on this forum. Almost all of them are about problems with my car. At least it's running but I'm not throwing any more good money after bad. It's getting the minimum attention it needs to keep going (still far too much as far as I'm concerned) and I'm f...

UPDATE

Update: I've been trying to figure out where some of the oil is coming from (you may remember this car leaks oil a LOT) and have found what may be a major source of leakage. Taking the distributor cap off last weekend revealed it to be soaked with oil on the inside. I cleaned it all out and it was t...

Thanks Andy.

Small world. Been patronising BMF for years as I only live a few miles from Bridgend. Never thought to ask when I've been in recently for brake pads!

Love it!

You have to respect the effort that's been put in and personally I love it. The only niggle I have with it is the front lights. I can see what he was going for but they just don't quite sit right with the rest of the car, especially where the wing has been modified. I think he was going for this sor...

Brake parts...

Hi mate. Sorry to hear about your misfortune. You're OK and that's the main thing. Been there, done it, have been very pissed off about it but you'll get over it and be able to laugh about it in time. Anyway, to help you out financially I need a rear drivers side brake caliper that works properly. O...
