Well MrH. Spot on. I have checked the plate and to my surprise the code is 311-1. Lavender Metallic. Just shows don’t always believe how the dealership describes the car! It’s only taken 30 years for me to discover the truth.

The V5 describes it as Silver however the original invoice states that it is Oyster Grey.

Hi Thanks for the part number suggestion and link. In the end i had one made to pattern by a hydraulc hose repairer however it was important to refer to the part as an oil cooler pipe and not a steering component.

Does anyone know where i could get a replacement intercooler pipe for my Volvo 480 Turbo -1990
