I got 10w40 castrol magnatec as mentioned on other threads on the forum. Seems hard to go as wrong.

Out of curiosity is this gear oil suitable for my 2.0 litre manual?
I want to find it ideally in-store so I can perform the service tomorrow and use the car for work

Regards to colour.. I'm reading from a brochure for earlier models, so I could be out there..

The car was advertised for £650 and I knocked £100 off to get it to £550.
