not a weird question at all - but first.... Where did you find bushes with Voids in them????
The voids are vertical when installed

Re: White Auto on C&C auctions
I've gave up counting faults....
Still, it's more saveable than the legendary Ebay one!
I'm tempted to save all the pictures - They'd serve well in a training routine of "fault spotting" in a potential purchase!

Re: Pool Car R3
Just skimming the old photos and its good to see other cars with trim panels removed. In particular, the wiring harnesses secured with whatever tape the factory could find, and the mounting method of the red "bulb-monitoring" box at the nearside rear quarter. I looked at mine and laughed saying no ...

The DRL's are bright (21w) when the headlamps are off, and dim (4w) once headlamps are on.
All of my cars run LED' Drl's and pass the MOT just fine.

Re: Help needed. No start. No spark
Thanks guys, I have a few new parts arriving this week including a new crank sensor. I have a 1991 ES with a 1.7 B18EP engine. It was running fine Wednesday and didnt start Friday. No power to the fuel pump or coil. The 2 relays under the dash are the same and interchangeable. Might that be an issu...

Re: Help needed. No start. No spark
The relays are best thought of as: Ignition relay and a control relay. The ignition relay powers EVERYTHING, from injections, sensors and fuel pump. The control relay, controls the ignition relay. The control relay is switched by the ECU. So when the ECU "sees" engine activity (crank sensor) it eart...

Re: Replacing cracked windscreen
It's why I would favour a cold repair... and P40 is the top of my list... but it has a stigma about it and I didn't want to get ripped at the next update! Considering the amount of fresh metal I have thrown at this car, perhaps I could get this 1x pass! we're watching........ What are ...

Re: Help needed. No start. No spark
It really does, thank you. I have ordered a new crank position sensor. But what I'm struggling to get my head around with is the relay, I think the one for the fuel pump which seems to give power to fuel pump, coil and injectors. It appears to be working but when key is turned it clicks but power i...

Good news is, Vactan has arrived. Bad news, it is too cold to use it (apparently can't be below 10 degrees) Thinking of putting a chalk wash on the affected areas to neutralise any salt and stop it getting worse. Anyone got any better ideas? Warm area with hairdryer - Apply vactan - Problem solved

I am keeping an eye on breakers and reproductions but both are pretty expensive for decent ones. Perhaps I may just have to bite the bullet and pay! As someone that has, I can tell you the quality is superb. I’ll be doing a full post on here soon detailing the pro’s and cons of the solution. In the...

Re: A wheel arch issue
first, work out where it's coming from. Is it from outside in, or inside OUT. if it's a rear arch it's likely to be the later. From outside in, treat the rust with some neutraliser (I'm a fan of vactan) and then overpaint. From inside out, Cavity waxing should halt it - It'd prevent air/moisture fro...
