Re: Bilstein B4's

And so, a follow up.....

Googling revealed that the kilen website looks shockingly similar to the lesjofors website. They’re the same damn company.

To allay my fears, I spoke to the customer service department of lesjofors this morning, who said they’re the exact same spring in a different box.

Re: My 480 life is just beginning!

On a tangent, I got my lip spoiler back from repair today. After trying to find a plastic repairer, it was eventually done by the business that backs onto my garage. He's done a great job, and all it needs now is a little bit of prep and paint. Very pleased for £30. You can clearly see the chunk th...

Re: Bilstein B4's

well, if you pop back to 1996, there probably was. Sadly, with such a small slice of market, its a wonder there's any parts still available! KYB's seem readily available as a standard shock (i struggled to find the uprated ones). I'd definitely recommend everyone check the lower spring mountings as ...

Re: Bilstein B4's

For standard replacements, I'd probably look at KYB's
Fronts: 633124
Rears: 343243

or if you wanted all Monroe
Fronts: 11153
Rears: 42044

At this stage of the game, its more about availability!

He’s absolutely still doing them - I’ve had a set in the last month or so. I usually contact him via Facebook, so if you need me to check with him, drop me a pm with the email address you used to contact him and I can ask him to check.

Depends on your model, as turbos already sit lower.

Have a look at Rachel’s fabulous storm grey example, pretty sure she’s at -40.

As I’ve been double booked, I’ve managed to get a slight compromise so will be joining you all for breakfast!

I’ll also be dropping off a front wing which I hope will be ferried up to Martin MC, probably via someone closer to him than me!

Re: Nora, my numberless Celebration

well, the changes to tax make it SO much easy to drop them in and out of Tax. Insurance? Classic cover is peanuts, mirrors your no-claims (but never technically accrues any). MOT's are always the fun part; Last year I'd got them staggered so they were every 2 months, but I've messed up and some are ...

hold on lads i've got an idea....

So, following on from the great photobucket debacle, I've been thinking about how we could prevent a similar loss of information.

So, one idea, was to start taking some of the "how to guides", and turning them into PDF's, so that they're complete.

Thoughts?
