Re: Handbrake cables query for early cars

Hi I have a 1990 Turbo so it is the old model. I changed my handbrake wires this weekend with this one: http://www.biltema.se/sv/Bil---MC/Bilreservdelar/Bromssystem/Bromswire--slang--ror/Bromswire/HANDBROMSWIRE-VOLVO-2000026637/ It is a swedish shop but its the same on both right and left side, and ...

Re: It lives...sort of...

I do have a contact for 3D-printing but I need the measurements on the gear.

Do someone have the inner and outer measurements of the gear?

Re: Questions about changing brake lines

Thank you so much both of you.

I do understand the English part GJ :-)

After some research I realise that there might be different fittings for the pipes in the connections.
Is there some standard number for them (eg. AA0200)?
The partsbook dont give out any numbers for that what I see...

Questions about changing brake lines

Hi everybody I bought a Turbo from 1990 with ABS some months ago and during the yearly inspection this week the brake lines was determined "not qualified" due to rusted pipes. It is still allowed to drive on the road but as this is a safety issue I like to fix it rather soon! The questions: Do any o...

Re: It lives...sort of...

Now the winking problem is solved!

It was a faulty gas spring under the pop up light.
The gas spring had no gas at all and when replaced I got a nice double syncrone blink :-D

I found one gas spring but will change the other one too when I find one more.

Re: 480 parts for sale incl. driver's door components.

Thank you anyway Carpediem! David: The light it self works but the assembly and motor/gear needs either replacement or repairing. The motor dont move but there is voltage. The gear seams to be bolted and if I take it apart I might not be able to assemble it again. Also the washer-fluid-hole-thingy a...

Re: It lives...sort of...

Last night I manage to get some time to change bulbs but no luck in the winking problem. Now all lights works and have the right bulbs and still the right pop-up is not stoping on the way down unless you help it by applying a small amount of force. I have found a "new" pair of pop-ups here in sweden...

Re: It lives...sort of...

Hi Thank you Travelman. But would not it affect both pop-ups in the case where the dashboard switch is loose or faulty? I only have problem with the right pop-up. Although I might found the problem, but not solved it yet... As I changed the brake/rear lights to the correct size BAY15d (21/5W) I had ...

Re: It lives...sort of...

Hi Thank you for the answer Alan! The problem is not the relay itself, I have tested it in my bench and swapped contacts between left and right pop-up. I had problems when I tryed to dismount the relaybox so I have just tested conectivety between pop-ups and relay-poles and it works. I can do the sa...

Re: It lives...sort of...

(Sorry to hijack this thread...) Left pop up light goes up, comes on - so far so good. When its time for it to go down, it does that and then comes up immediately and then down / up down etc.. Does this mean its fouling when trying to go down or some dodgy position sensor in the motor? I find it sta...
