Re: Noisy gearbox and unable to select gears
Filled it up, to then find all the fluid I’d put in had come straight out the bottom, I had a look and saw it was coming from the seal around the CV boot to the gearbox, I had a more thorough look and found that half of the boot wasn’t even fitted into the hole. I’ve refitted the boot properly and t...

Re: Noisy gearbox and unable to select gears
I’m in Lincolnshire! I’m going to add some oil today and see if it makes a slight difference, however I feel it’s too little too late.

Re: Noisy gearbox and unable to select gears
I did think the two might of been connected somehow, it’s 1994 2.0 litre ES. Hopefully I’ll be able to find one somewhere.
Thanks all.
Thanks all.

Noisy gearbox and unable to select gears
So today I was happily driving along the motorway at about 70mph, this is the first time I’ve driven it at this speed for a while. It kept slipping out of 5th gear, it happened once, then started to become more frequent, I slowed down to 50mph and tried to limp home, then I became unable to put it i...

Re: Battery drain and mystery fuse.
I did think that 24ma wasn't drastic, so i reckon it must be the battery thats not holding its charge. I tried changing the feed but it made no difference to the drain. I completed removed the radio and that didn't effect the drain either. I've left it for now and im going to start taking the front ...

Battery drain and mystery fuse.
I've had a battery drain for about 3 months now, but i've just ignored it and kept jump starting it etc etc, but id finally had enough. The battery is 2 years old and still within its 3 year warranty so i assumed its not the battery, but I could be wrong. I used a multimeter and found that the drain...

WANTED Passenger door protector/trim
Accidentally caught my car on a wall today, fortunately it's just the door ding guard thing, was wondering if anyone knows where I can get one from? Preferably maroon but I can easily get it sprayed.
Thanks in advance!
