Clearly my wheel arch restoration didn't last:
I would say you did a fantastic job there though, the arches look amazing!!

I guess all we can do to combat it is just make sure there’s no mud or silt stuck behind the arches every now and then :?

Re: 89 of 480

Thanks for your supportive message guys. :( And another one... :( I don't come on here for a while and everyone's bailing out!! Fun starting price of £480 but I trust you are after a little more than that? Best of luck anyway David I would hope to get more than £480 for her, she’s solid and she’s ha...

Hey guys, It’s with great displeasure I must mention that my car is on eBay, I couldn’t just list it on there and leave out this amazing place. Long story short she’s on there as I’m struggling for storage at the moment, it pains me to see her on there though, I’m not happy about it. I will try and ...

ooo, note under the wipers if you see it parked again :)
Unfortunately I did not see it again today, the space it was in was empty, but If I see it again it will most certainly get a note under the wiper!

Re: LED quvivlents of the standard bulb sets?

I will get you a photo- they were sold to me by someone who used to sell quite a lot on this forum back in the day, hopefully I'll remeber his name by the time I get some pics uploaded! Are they SpreeLED lamps? They look amazing in the old pictures I’ve been able to find of them! Sadly traces these...

Re: LED quvivlents of the standard bulb sets?

MY DRL's are a lovely warm yellow that 'warm' up to full power a lot like a standard bulb, except my 480 still has lovely clear plastic lenses of course ;-) Sorry for the confusion re-halogen, I was really thinking of that tricky little one that is the main dash back-light, which is both hot and in...

Re: LED quvivlents of the standard bulb sets?

I would like to add a couple of things to this too; I am not so sure if LED’s are flat out illegal; obviously we know new cars have them factory standard front and rear these days. I think the key here is the E mark - I have seen E marked LED headlight bulbs for sale, which does indeed mean they are...

Two-Tone spotted in Berkshire

Does anyone know who this car belongs to at all? I originally saw it on the M4 near the Membury Services Wednesday evening, my eyes nearly poppoed out of my head when I saw it crusing in the first lane, unfortunately i was in my van though. I then saw the car again Thursday evening parked up in Newb...

Re: The story of #89/480 continues...

Sounds similar to my upcoming job - speedo and rev counter are increasingly intermittent and I'm hoping that the culprit will be dry joints somewhere on the board. I haven't done a cog change before, so was basically planning to bodge it. Here are a couple of threads I dug up with some useful infor...

...The windscreen is cracked, unrelated to rusting at least, it cracked when I pushed the mirror back on recently...... But it was all chipped anyway, and there are a couple of bubbles above the screen anyways... There'll be rust under there, I'd put money on it. Guess how I know . Having read...

Re: The story of #89/480 continues...

My dash will be coming apart for some repairs in the near future, my odometer is working fine for now but I'm planning to replace the gear preemptively since I'll have access to it. Brinkie was able to point me in the direction of a replacement gear for the odometer, link here . Thank you for the l...

Re: So, today was the day...

Oli and I have been using those LEDs in our cars for a while, his is a daily driver in London and no objections from the rozzers so far. There is anecdotal evidence (including on this forum) of people being pulled over and having to remove them in the past due to them being too 'blue', but that was...

Fair play to the Autoglass man!! :hopping: A well done on your repair!! You’ve done a cracking job of that, although I am deeply concerned as this is one of my next jobs to tackle! The windscreen is cracked, unrelated to rusting at least, it cracked when I pushed the mirror back on recently...... Bu...

Re: The story of #89/480 continues...

This evening wasn’t bad in 480 land :D My front indicators were peeling and going clear, so I decided to get some chrome Osram bulbs instead; the chrome itself looks slightly different to some of the chrome ones I am used to seeing, but they’re nice and bright and they look good through the lens too...

Re: So, today was the day...

Forgive me for being thick but if in the UK you have bright and dim DLR is it not supposed to be BAZ15D, 4/21 bulbs then? I am interested in buying the LED we are talking about but they are single filament. Sorry in advance  Yes that’s correct, BAZ15D 21/4 are the UK DRL bulbs for dual filame...

Re: Group Buy for Heater Knobs

:bored: Unfortunately, the Skandix ones‎ look pretty poor these days. They used to sell original Volvo ones but stock has ran out. The ones they sell now are disappointing as you can see in the picture. The nose looks like it has been glued on but is slightly the wrong size.  I know this from experi...

Yes. Still required.

Have a box of old ones but a new one would be good.

Thanks.
I’ll be more than happy to order one for yourself with my order later :)

Re: Group Buy for Heater Knobs

Hi all, I'm after some heater control knobs from Scandix, but buying just one costs a mere €27 (inc. postage). https://i.imgur.com/lEVjsF9.jpg http://www.skandix.de/en/spare-parts/body/interior-equipment/dashboard/knob-slider-heating-selector/1019575/ So happy to organise a group buy for these as t...
