Re: B18FT Switching to a different fuel injection system
Hi Martin! I also had a Volvo 480 in my city, but it was in very poor condition, and I think it's already dead. As far as I know, there are about 15 such cars in Russia, and I've noticed that people in the city stare at me when I drive, and even the police stop to ask about my car. Thank you for rea...

Re: B18FT Switching to a different fuel injection system
Hi, Martin! You won't believe it, but it's easier to find spare parts in Europe than it is in Siberia, and I've been restoring my swallow for 7 years. For the past 3 years, it's been sitting idle, waiting for me to find the time and resources to complete the project. I'm slowly progressing towards m...

Re: B18FT Switching to a different fuel injection system
Hi! This is an official ECU for VAZ cars, and some clever people have already written and modified the software so that it can be flashed and customized to your needs. Almost all athletes use this ECU on their different cars and engines, and the sensors are much cheaper and can be purchased at any s...

B18FT Switching to a different fuel injection system
Hello everyone! I would like to present you with an option to switch from the standard LH 2.2 Jetronic injection system to the January 5.1 system. I won't go into detail about what this system is, but I will say that it is installed in Lada cars, and the basis of the ECU is Bosch. The system can be ...

Hi! The valve is located at least on my main line under the hood, it is not large at the right cup (rack), it changes quickly, it should not cost much.

Re: Heated rear screen
I used ' Anders Wire Glue' with great success in the past to reaffix a spade connector to the window on a VW Golf for the radio aerial. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/226423692723?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=Q9kWQelgRxS&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=0nkPrxAvQo-&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=CO...

A 125 euros for a spoiler + postage too pricey for me  . Still Dutch prices are always higher than ours. Hi Jim, I know what you mean, but please bear in mind that my spoilers are way tougher then original Volvo ones, fitment is perfect, quality is so much better as earlier reproductions her...

tell me, of course, I don't understand something, what is the problem to make a completely stainless steel exhaust from a 56 pipe, and pick up the exhaust according to the sound from the tuning? it will be longer lasting and better.

Re: Rear lamp Seals / Marker light seals / Headlamp Hinges / knobs / clips / Footwell lamps /Roller Blind
This is a brilliant service! You may have seen from my recent post, that my car is immobilised due to a broken clutch cable retainer - the bit that attaches the cable to the pedal. On early cars this was plastic, later metal, so obviously a weak point initially. These are like rocking horse droppin...
