Re: Ignition switch problem?

Thanks guru Jim :D.

It'll be Sunday at the earliest before I can look at this. Hopefully it will be obvious once the cowling is off. I'll report back as soon as I can. Obviously I want a permanent fix rather than hot wiring but at least that'll confirm where the problem lies.

Cheers,
Dave

Ignition switch problem?

Hi folks, Drove Dusty home from work today & parked her up on the grass verge. Went out to move her into the garage (yes I have space for a car :D ), turned the key; nothing . All dash lights ok but no cranking. Thought maybe starter motor (had this before with my Celebration) so tried again. N...

Rear Side Marker Reflector Bulb Fittings?

Hi guys, Anyone know what bulb holder would fit into the rear wing side reflectors? I've changed the lenses on mine from orange to clear ones & would like to link them into the indicators using silvered bulbs that flash orange. I've already changed the front wing indicators to clear lenses, and the ...

Re: In need of some interior and body parts

Hi, I think this is the site you've heard of: http://www.estateservices.nl/ It's not the easiest to navigate, unless you are from The Netherlands . I bought a pair of front clusters from them a month or so ago. Great service! I can't currently see either fronts or rears on the site at the mome...

Re: Roller Cover Wanted

Hi,

I have a roller blind available but I don't have the mountings I'm afraid. It's in decent condition with good spring tension & I'm not that far away from you in Derbyshire. If you can find the brackets & it's any use to you let me know.

Cheers,
Dave

Re: 5w DRL's ?

That's brilliant Jim, thanks :D. I'll give mine a go. I was a bit worried they would switch off or only come on once the pop-ups were active as they only have 2 connections & not 3. Should save the front plastics from burning eh? Wish I'd tried this before buying the LED's

Re: 5w DRL's ?

Thanks timrosser, I did pm Spree but got no response I guess it's a while back since he did the LED's. For now I'm running with the LED's that don't dim. Not due for MOT for a while yet :D

5w DRL's ?

I was lucky enough to be given some cash at Christmas & decided to buy new front light clusters :D. They came from The Netherlands & had both the indicator & DRL bulb holders fitted, though the DRL's were the European 5w fittings. Anyway, using the original bulb holders I thought I'd try & keep the ...

Does it matter which wire goes where to the new sensor (only one chance:)) or :?
Yes it does. It won't do any harm though. I got it wrong first time. Simply switch off, swap the wires & all will be good :D

Hi CaptainSnow, To the existing sensor orange wire is now connected. On the same loom but ca.10 cm above I found a yellow one unused/ free ie. with no connector or whatsoever. Could it be the one i' m looking for? My second question: will i loose oil from the engine when changing sensors ( sensor i...

Hi Ben, You have a pm :D Thank you for the offer. Intrigued by your 3d model. In my line of work I have some contacts in this field so I'll copy the file & see if I can get somone interested.
