MOT is untill end of Nov 14, TAX is up end of April if i recall correctly.

It's got to be worth something to someone. Alloys and interior are in beautiful cond. as you can see if the pictures. Engine and gearbox are sound! Just needs a little work doing to the body.

Well, the time has gone for us to part ways. I'll be looking to get a smaller, more fuel economical car within the next few weeks.

I really don't want to scrap the car and I don't have much faith in selling her on ebay. I'm open to any offers.

If I could keep it and have a compact to run to work in, I would definitely do that. I've just moved house and we've barely got enough room for the 480 and a Rover Metro outside. The bushes I got are completely the wrong fit

I've changed the transmission oil which has helped a tonne. BUT there is still a bit too much play than I would like.

Sorry to bump this up again but can anyone help a brother out with some linkage bushes?!

I'm in Wolverhampton, in the west Midlands. The rust is noticeable, sure, but on only the one side is it bad enough you'll need a repair panel. There doesn't appear to be any rust on the structure, just the rear arches.

Due to my usual working office being relocated and the not-so-amazing fuel economy of the 480; it is with great regret this post is to gauge interest in its eventual sale. I have only had the car since September and both the Mrs and I are totally enamoured with the car. I just can't afford to use it...

Ended up getting V/S40 bushes as they have been confirmed a good fit and of decent quality

Does anyone have these on a car they are breaking? Mine has seized and is causing the most incredible whining/squealing noise. Volvo have said £140 for a new one!

Is the boot cover one of the roller type ones?
