No problem, slowly getting my head round the electrics, to work out how the thing ticks, and seeing as they are a bit renowned for electrical problems, and is the 'unique' bit, thought have to start somewhere. Alarm is activated through the central locking system, so cut the feed to that, and alarm ...

you should find the central locking doesn't work on passenger side, but its the biggest, one (plug), slots into a holder in door, and then once you open door, it switches alarm off, but it won't get the trigger to re-arm, unless you put key into passenger or boot lock ;) but you can just put key in ...

take off drivers door card, unplug the cable for central locking (its the 4 wire one I think), then only open door with key on drivers side, reach over to passenger side if you need to unlock, and only do boot via lever on floor (not key) will get you out of trouble so you can still lock/unlock car,...

I have spare pair of richmoded modules en route, so have the choice........ tuned or not, as plan is to have a go on track with it, but for moment plan is to keep stock for road, standard suspension etc, but strip, check/replace bushes, then if all goes well, can fit coil overs, modules etc, trailer...

are the lights wired via module, I have considered if I had major gremlins at any point, to more or less create old style wiring for lights etc, but safer to leave alone whilst it works

I've been in touch, may have another one to add to the collection by the weekend

Its not that far, and have checked travel arrangements, if I go ahead , its then negotiation time with the wife

Just had a check, and car has Blue sticker on ECU.

V40 T4 went on friday, so 480 is moving under cover.

480 may be making a few outing on trackdays next year, so maybe a spare gearbox or 2

really not sure which way I will go with it.
