Thanks everyone , Family will be away for a week with car , there's not much I can do now. It would be interesting to see more pictures of what these things look like , if anyone has anymore . Wouldn't it be excellent if they were modifications that everybody could do to solve some of these problems...

Alex, if the infocentre has readings for the instantaneous mpg (and after pressing reset?) the average speed and mpg (as opposed to 3 dashes) then that means that the infocentre is getting a speed reading. IE the speed sensor is operational and all the connections to the back of the instrument binn...

on the 480ES form 1994 ? And were they light like a Jag or heavier like a mercedes . The speedometer isn't working . But everything else in the information center is.
