Sounds like a proper upgrade to me I am very curious about the total part cost incurred (not counting labour) and the final result on a rolling road or track!

I can only echo this, I want for the resurrection of the silver Turbo, lots of other things to come first though!

I think that ship saled long ago, however have you been to Lake's Autos? It is quite a trek for you but they have a 480 in there at the moment, tho it is crash damaged, James and Jaster got some headrests for mine from it, it may have an intact subframe, but the bumper met the wrong side of a bolla...

Is anything still available? i will take anything, especially the subframe if it's still around? if not i'll take any info on where to get one!

:D So i have good news so far, after a call to my locaL Volvo parts FRF Volvo Swansea and providing some info i have received the Key code, and a local key cutter who should be able to cut the key for me NENER's. The helpful chap at Volvo didn't charge me anything he was very polite and keen to see ...

Well, thanks for the encouraging comments so far. I am pleased that many are fond for a restoration. I certainly wasn't ready to let go a few years back and still haven't changed my mind. Im keen to get the key sorted so will be giving Volvo a ring for that urgently. I also am keen to get a Subframe...

hi there can i please purchase the rubber pipe coming off the turbo please it houses the recirculating (dump) valve leading towards the airbox it also has a sensor on it. many thanks for any reply.
