thanks jim, thats handy to know, but that does tell me that these are something to address as the battery was out for a full charge from flat after i removed the stereo so they will come back im guessing, as for the ABS light could it be a case of cleaning the sensors? i read somewhere they are like...

thanks everyone, the alternator didnt fit in the end, so just cleaned up the old one, was getting 13.8 volts, but after driving for a while it dropped down to where it was before <12-13... going to try and get a replacement one from the seller as it was listed for the 480 2.0 will keep you posted
