Re: Bonnet insulation

Yeh, what they said! My car isn't running at all now (un-related problem) but after changing the insulation and removing the anti-static pads nothing changed at all. Everything electrical worked fine :D

Re: Bonnet insulation

Rob Just removed the connectors and cable completely as i didn't really see the need. The original insulation had a thin metal sheet with adhesive underneath, as mine uses plastic sticky film underneath I can't see why it would need it. It's not original but as I couldn't get the original part this ...

Re: Juddering and stalling turbo

Ok cheers for the advice, today i removed the fuel rail and injectors from the car, they look pretty grubby so going to send them off to get cleaned and tested so i definitely know they are not at fault. I have cleaned most connectors but where can i find the ecu connectors? Many Thanks,

But as these items were replaced less than 3,000 miles ago i ...

Re: Bonnet insulation

No Problem, and no Rob, luckily this came sticky back, all i had to do was rip off the old crumbling stuff, soak the old adhesive in WD40 for a while then it would lift off with a stanley blade scraper. Then cut to size, peel off the backing and stick on. The new stuff has been on there for about 8 m...
