Hi Marek,
sorry for not answering earlier, had forgotten about this thread. I managed to get the last one in stock in all of Sweden, there are 28 more available in Europe in total.

Re: Someone with a B18FT without powersteering and AC?
@Ade The question is if the depth of the different brackets is the same, so that the tensioning works as it should. It was easy for me to procure a 440 rack from the scrap (most scrapyards are linked together in Sweden via a website, have a look at the available racks: "https://www.bildelsbasen.se/s...

Re: Someone with a B18FT without powersteering and AC?
The pieces are coming together, belt is ordered, found a few alternators that fit (like this one: http://480info.de/images/bilder/extern/mounting_bracket_alternator.jpg). BUT, the alternator bracket from a 440/480 without AC and PAS, seems hard to come by. Called a few scrapyards today but no luck. ...

Re: Someone with a B18FT without powersteering and AC?
I have a 440 steering rack which I am rebuilding at the moment, cleaning, new grease, new bearings etc. and that will replace my original powersteering rack. My original alternator has a 3-rib pulley and I do not think the pulleys are interchangable. The alternator itself sits to far to the center o...

Re: Someone with a B18FT without powersteering and AC?
Much appreciated if you get the time to take a picture of it. When I am talking about the mount for the alternator I mean the thing that bolts directly to the block and has the dampener connected to it, to avoid any confusion. There is a difference between the alternators and that is the pulley, whe...

Someone with a B18FT without powersteering and AC?
Hi, I am currently removing weight from my 480T -88 to increase performance and have just removed the powersteering pump, AC compressor and alternator. While going through the Haynes manual I noticed an image where they showed a B18FT engine with just the waterpump and alternator on the belt connect...

Valve in the bend before inlet to the turbo B18FT
Hi guys, this will be my first post of many I am sure on this great forum. I recently became the proud owner of a -88 480 Turbo in white, it is in excellent shape for its age with some issues to fix of course, this being one. Going through my engine compartment I noticed that the valve connected to ...
