Re: ECU differences

Hi, I agree with Norm about going to the Volvo dealer. If you really want to know you simply need‎ access to the parts catalogue with its effectivity codes to tie up part numbers to chassis numbers.‎ That will end without any new information, as the Volvo part numbers - the only thing that is...

Re: Someone with a B18FT without powersteering and AC?

Well, it's correct that water pump is driven by the flat side of the belt, nethertheless the impeller is wider for the belt with 6 ribs.

Re: ECU differences

Hi, there are two different versions of the 2l engine (B20F). The first one is the famous 'oil eater' (around 1l per 1.000km) :bla: from model year '93 with engine code B20F-116/118 (116 = manual gearbox; 118 = automatic one). For model year '94 and '95 - from chassis number 586300 on - the engine w...

Re: Hausser rear spoiler info

The blind holes through the window should have a diameter of 6,5mm. Additionally to the bolts both sides of the rear spoiler are fixed on the window, which should be pretreated with primer (Sika Glas-Primer 206J), with polyurethane adhesive (SikaFlex-221). The products mentioned are those that were ...

Re: no spark on a 1989 ES

Hi.
When left-hand drive, the fuel pump relay is on the passenger side in front of the door, at least at 2l and turbo. Don't know if this is true at '89 ES. It should be mounted in a holder together with the ignition relay.

Best Regards.

Re: Boost pressure

Can anyone tell me how much psi is indicated between the end of the yellow scale and the beginning of the red scale?
