i have mounted a b18ft engine on a renault 12, with the complete electrical wiring for the 2 ecu`s. a have the red "plug" in wich i have connected the + ignition and + fuel pump on the grey, and grey red wire. the rest is correct, ignition coil, main 12v, all the earths are plugged... a have one pro...

my 1991 480 turbo has orange/orange ecu with richmode. so, you are advising me not to use the purple / purple(brown) ecu`s on my car?

but, if i also have a b18ft with purple ecus, mounted on another car (renault 12), can i mount the orange ecu on it?

what is the difference?

p.s. i searched the forum for information about the purple ecu and i had no results...

on my 480 Turbo, the seeger safety ring jumped out.
behind the safety ring there is another ring, and then the differential.
what can i do to stop that ring to jump out?
does anyone have a part no for that ring?

no, i could not find that type. still i now have installed injector from a audi a4 1.8 20v Turbo.
they are 230 cc flow, with 2 holes
and if anyone is interested the original injector are 190 cc flow with one hole.

it moves pretty well with these!
