I wouldn't say that it's causing any problems either, because the engine runs fine. I'm not overfilling it and the oil pressure is around 5 bar and varies with speed.

It was right after the throttle body, inside the manifold.

Oh, I completely forgot about posting back here. All three leaks are solved. I refitted that seal and dealt with the other leaks aswell. The snd oil leak through the bolt by the injectors was solved using liquid gasket (no idea what it's called in English) and the same thing solved my water leaking ...

Need help figuring out these leaks

Hi everyone, I have these three tiny leaks going on under the hood which aren't that important really but as soon as it's wet and creates a pool it has to go, but I need your advice on how to best get rid of them. Here goes: 1. http://img357.imageshack.us/img357/1545/spa0036ds5.jpg As shown by the a...

I don't have a lambda, it's a -87. And yes, the vacuum is connected properly.

Thanks for the offer Paul, but I got the Haynes which unfortunately doesn't cover this particular subject too well. I guess I'm gonna have to keep digging. Hopefully, something will come up eventually.

All the best,

Ok, the gasket is blown so I'll replace that however I find it funny that you mention "it was pooling on the venturii plate directly underneath the throttle" as I have the exact same problem. Now follow my lead here just to make sure I'm right. The crank house ventilation flows into the oil dispense...

It seems to my 'novice mind' that the oil cannot get to where it's supposed to go so is pooling around your inlet manifold.......... But I don't understand where it's coming from. Could a blown rocker cover gasket cause my problems perhaps? How do you check your rocker cover gasket to see if it's b...

You mean the hoses after or before the oil dispenser? I only know of two after it. Care to pinpoint which ones you mean?

Ok, it took a while but now I've cleaned and replaced all the injectors. The spray pattern are awesome. Still no change.

A small pool of oil laying around in the inlet manifold

Hi, Well this is my next problem. If I remove the throttle and look inside the manifold I see a small pool of oil gathering at the bottom. If I dry it up and turn the engine on, it's back after about 15 mins, which means that something is pumping up oil. Question is, what? I've replaced the oil disp...

I finally solved the damn problem today so I thought I'd post back just incase someone else ends up here. The problem turned out to be the damn fuel pipe between the pump and the filter. While I was tightening the fittings the last time I changed fuel filter I didn't realize that the pipe was twisti...

Engine power cuts out at 2200rpm

As some of you may have red, in an attempt to solve my annoying stuttering problem that's been bugging me since day one with this car seen here , I tried replacing the injectors and the fuel pump. Both didn't do any difference and I noticed that when I completed the replacement, my engine power star...

I'm sorry for sounding a bit stupid, but could I get any suggestions for something that's bigger and "twistable"?
Maybe I could pull it off with a pipe wrench by applying more pressure, but I don't want the whole dispenser to be trashed since I'm gonna have to do the same thing at the scrapyard.

Remove the oil dispenser, crank housing ventilation

Hi everyone, The thing should be simple. Twist it and drag it out, but it just refuses to come off. The best tool I could find was a pipe wrench and even that won't do any good. It just scratches the surface. I remember it got it off about a year ago with almost no effort at all, but now its rock so...

Yeah, didn't think of that  Then I'll know which one to clean. I'll clean them all anyway while I'm at it, but atleast then I know for sure which one's faulty. Thanks, I'll post back as soon as I'm done.

I didn't have a problem accelerating at all, the car worked excellent that's the thing. And now, well it's not working at all so there's not much accelerating at hand. Ok, so how exactly do I clean the injectors? I assume that you're talking about cleaning them not only on the tips but also inside. ...

I an attempt to solve this problem I continued towards the next suspect, or in this meaning, suspectS. I'm talking about the injectors. I talked to a pal of mine which in turn talked to his pal and both said I should swap the injectors to make sure that they are working. So I got four along with the...
