Re: Lots Of 480 Turbo Bits As a Job Lot

Hi All,

Forgot to say, all now gone. I ran out of time so they went to the local scrappy that gave me just over £300 for the lot. Shame as I would have loved you guys to have them. But guess the parts must be quite cheap. No worries, stay safe.

See you all around some time.

Regards

Memory Of Meet 2004

Hi all,

A memory came up on google photos yesterday whilst we are away in the motorhome. It prompted me to make this album for you.

Enjoy.

SOLD Lots Of 480 Turbo Bits As a Job Lot

Hi All, As promised I have managed to get all the bits together from my office garage which we have moved out of and want to get them sold. Looking around the prices for some of these parts are quite high. As I have no interest in being a car parts dealer or in the 480 now, I would like to sell the ...

Re: Hello - A Past Owner and Meeting Host

Hi Martin,

Yes it was great fun. Nice to you still here and an owner?

Must get to the office and photograph those bits and pieces. At one time I had a complete car in bits in the loft!

Regards

Re: Hello - A Past Owner and Meeting Host

You have to host the images to a host site first such as imgbb.com, then use bb code to display them on here. Alternatively it would be easier if you uploaded them to a Google photo album and post the link to it! Thanks Will, it's all coming back to me now. I will create a google photo album as it ...

Hello - A Past Owner and Meeting Host

Good afternoon all, It has been many a year since I owned a 480 or have been on here. My current toy is a classic Mini Convertible that may be up for auction soon. I have sent a message to Coyote1980 but he may be too busy to reply. So thought I would ask on here. Are the Moderators happy if I adver...

Hi Guys, Good to hear from you and good to see the site still doing well. Made a promise to Claire that if I bought a motorhome I would sell the last toy car! Struggled with not wanting to sell it, you may recall it was one of the last Rover 820 Vitesse Coupe's. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v11...

Hi Dave, Enjoy your wine and I know you will! Here is a wine tasting guide I wrote for an American who wanted to woo his girlfriend (it worked) WINE TASTING A. The Look i. Swirl the wine around the glass and keep an eye on how well it sticks to the side of the bulb. In general a good quality wine wi...

Hi All, Thanks for making this years meet something special. Claire and I had a great time and once again you proved that where 480 goes so does a great mix of excellent people. We did very little on Sunday once everyone left and have spent most of today sat by the Jacuzzi chilling out. Once everyon...

It is looking good, I have ignored the weather forecasts and ordered sun so we should be OK. Just installed a fridge in the bar outside and will slowly be filling it with goodies today. I have even taken the day off work to finish sorting things. My son is slaving away in the office complaining that...

Hi Dave, Any tent or gazebo will be of use I am sure so if you have room bring it. Also Claire says she is putting together a little salad and will have some fetter cheese so you should be safe from reprisals there. Chris1roll, I have sent you an email, of course you can come late or not. But be pre...

Hi Fargo, This is a very interesting debate we are starting and the important thing to remember is that cost is of course relative. I run some very expensive vehicles (relatively speaking) and over the years (I am 50 this year) I have owned even more expensive vehicles. However the cheapest car I ha...

Hi Darren, Chris1roll is probably right but there are a couple of other suggestions. Sorry to be so obvious but you can (at a push) put the bulb in the wrong way round. Having had Volvo's over the years I came to accept that it was not worth buying anything other than a Volvo bulb. The cost differen...

Hi Chaps, The wonder cure WD40 will solve your squeaking problems! From a history point of view the 480 was made as light as possible. To make it go faster don't you know! The problem with this is very obvious when you look around the car. The rear and front indicator lights fade and become brittle....
