I use in holland sometimes markplaats which is not an auction site but more a second hand place and if i realy want something I just drive to the place. not as easy but still safer.

I used Skype for a while but if you connect with more than 1 other person and you still want to play online better use Teamspeak. otherwise i use MSN, quality of sound is a bit less but the connection is better
