Well l am sort of stuck at locating the relevant parts. I expect the restorer would work better if l could provide the necessary parts in a timely fashion. It appears that l can't get new parts and so maybe a donor car? Tricky one as a car that has good quarter panels is not likely to be in bad shap...

Like the man said, you really want to avoid pushing air into a smaller diameter pipe. Creates a lot of backpressure, heat and inefficient turbo operations, lag and overall flow.
