Re: Guinness world record attempt......

AMAZIN day yesterday! Great to see you all there, and sorry to had missed a fair few too though. Missed out on being with the group due to leaving a little late and getting held up in Lutterworth (blame it on Aaron and his camera  ) but really enjoyed the day. My 480 did not like creeping round...

Re: FOR SALE: Rear bumper support

I did check to see if I had any other way to contact Bartek because when I eventually contacted him he said he wasn't getting notifications of PM's. Unfortunately I don't have any other email for him. Hopefully he'll be along soon.

Re: Genius idea or crazy drunken fool?

I think it's certainly worth a shot. I can't see them having an issue. I remember a time when I actually got all my VW campers old owners addresses from the DVLA! I managed to get in contact with nearly all of them and found out loads of history and interesting stories. A shame you cant do that kind...

Re: Another Bilstein B4 Topic..

I'm super pleased with mine. Yeh they firm up the ride, less body roll, but not harsh at all even though my 480 has been lowered too. Feels much more planted and handles better. Way better than the originals. Had a chat about them with the guys at Skandix when I was looking for shocks and they say t...

Re: Another Bilstein B4 Topic..

Again, old thread I know but I have bilstien 4's and they are great. Lowered 30mm al round, no knocking, much firmer (rears used to rub quite often with someone in the back now rarely do) I'd definitely recommend them.

Re: 29th Sept 2018 Hampshire Mobile Mini Meet

Just got back from an other great weekend away at the meet. Awesome to see everyone again, and huge thanks as always to Sylvia and Al for their hard work organising the meet and for their great company. Brilliant to meet some new faces too, and of course "new" 480's. All the cars looked great in the...

Re: 29th Sept 2018 Hampshire Mobile Mini Meet

Having spent all day Thursday and this morning cleaning and polishing Lily, we set off for Hampshire at 1pm. Just arrived back home on a breakdown truck with a dead alternator. The plan now is fish and chips, then off up north of Norwich to our rented garage to retrieve Eva (Sven is in the garage w...

Hello! I've been waiting for access to the forum since earlier this year when I bought my 480.

I met a few of you at the Peak District meet.
