As for Volvo returning to car racing, I'm a bit unsure about the whole racing "future" as a lot of manufacturers are struggeling with high losses. Volvo reported BIG losses ($120 million) yesterday and well, that's just their truck/lorry division. Correct me if I'm wrong but Volvo Trucks is nothing...

Still available to anyone who wants to collect - wife is fed up with it hanging around, so it will (sadly) end up being scrapped if no-one wants it.

Still available. Couple of items I missed - there is a crack in the windscreen and the passenger electric window regulator doesn't work.

Wife is beginning to nag about it being on the drive, so I am open to offers - really don't want to scrap her.

Well done Sir....wipe the smile off your face. Try to park it without looking round as you leave it. Can't be done!! Cheers Stig haha, he's so right.. You can't stop doing that, you will find out yourself.. At first, try to take a few hours time just to give it a good polish; the car will grow on y...

A ha! I know the exact same thing happened to me when i was replacing a bulb! The good news is, they are replaceable, the bad news is, i was quote £30 a piece from a Volvo dealer and they had to be shipped in from Sweden! Name and shame the dealer - if this is just for the bracket my local deale...

Pop-up Hinge Support Replacement

Last week one of my pop-ups failed, and it turns out it was the little plastic brackets that form the hinge between the actual head-light assembly and the bracket attached to the body of the car (Volvo part # 3410860 according to the replacements). The good news is these seem to be a suprisingly che...

Volvo V50 - smooth, comfortable, incredibly easy to drive and completely soulless - made me feel I could fall asleep and it would still get me home. Not what I want.

Ford Galaxy. Makes me feel like I am sitting on top of a crate of oranges rather than strapping into a car.

Do you have to say yes?
Yes, otherwise your insurance would be invalid.

Re: A simple car insurance question- any ideas?

I recently scraped the ns/r door of my dad's 02 Primera on our gate. It also dented as these new french/jap hybrid slugs are made of paper! My dad wants to get it repaired on the insurance on which I am a named driver. What I want to know is, if he goes ahead with this and me named as the driver at...

Re: It's the drivers!

Admittedly, in a straight line it's not blistering (but neither is the 480 unless it's a turbo) but the handling means it goes round corners like it's on rails so you can really chuck it around and the brakes are way better. I've never driven a Focus, and I wouldn't argue about the brakes at the mo...

Hi mate Shows how much I know about 2.0s then !!! You obviously have Lucas/Girling braking system.. And no it wont affect your TRACS as it is designed to run using either the ATE/Teves or Lucas/Girling systems. You can use EBC pads though man...these are great. You have reason to be pleased so be pl...

Re: .

Hi again! Square pads cold mean you have Girling brake system. Those pads were square. BUT,fear not.If you use the link I already posted you, look for the other types listed as it does also list Girling shape. How these ended up on a GT can only be by someone swapping in the past I assume. Id fit sta...

Re: Replacement...

... Focus Diesel Sport. It's faster, handles better, costs a lot less to run and will last a lot longer and won't require me to stick my head under the bonnet every 5 minutes. It's an absolute joy to drive and I've had more fun with it in the two weeks I've had it so far than the four months I owne...
