Esta! Great to finally put a face to a name! Usually all I see of you is the Lula passing me at mach 10! It was a pleasure meeting a 480 nutter, could have been there all day! The show has been great, really worked wonders for not only Volvo Enthusiasts, but also the 480 club with the banner in my b...

Cerby!

Got to have a go at this cheap upgrade. Will it work on a 2.0? Be really interested if you have any piccys!

Perhaps we could organise a trip to a rolling road to see the difference in performance.

Hi James, Really interested in the car fella, and I have a track history of restoring 480's to former (and better) glory. My GT and Turbo are absolute minters, their both award winners in 3 different clubs, regulars at the shows, classic car and Volvo shows etc. Now I have done 2 I've got the itch t...

@ Esta, Yep that kitty was beautiful. I still haven't got rid of my Jag Fetish. A mint series 3 XJ6, XJ40 or XJS is really on the cards over the next couple of years.

The GT can get even less use then!

Well has to be said peeps, what a cracking show, nice putting some names to faces. Seeing some awesome metal, and a rather nice pint of Guinness! Still I am thinking of adding to the fleet, anyone notice the black Janspeed turbo XJ40? I caught up with the owner and he plans to restore not sell, d'oh...

Pearson couldn't resist it, a lovely open dual carriageway before us, just out for a pootle listening to the quite eshaust. Mr Saxo turns up with a dustbin for an exhaust, no need for back pressure then!, and the lpg gets switched off, petrol cuts in then.............cry havoc and let slip the dogs ...

Curdworth 18:15hrs 17/04/2008 - Esta's GT???

Clean & very tidy red GT, with ice blue sidelights (Incidentally Warwickshire traffic police love to give fixed penalties for those!).

I was in the Purple S40, my donkey for work, coming out of the village.

If it was you Esta, the GT is an absolute credit to you!

Polish? you don't need polish, well not strictly true, but it does take a full weekend. It took that long to get the paint on the GT and the Turbo to be in the sort of condition it's in now. Back breaking, absolutley, but now all either car ever needs is 2 top up waxes a year and I have to clean it ...

Esta, I have a confession to make! I only live 3 miles from the NEC, and I haven't even seen my GT for 3 weeks! I got my dates mixed up and got a phone call off the Volvo Club to take my car the day before the show. Luckily I have a very, very understanding Girlfriend who Cleaned up my baby and took...

It's not as nice as you think, and it's not really a genuine one. All the panels and the targa bar are from a breakers in Holland designated to detroy all of Volvo's design prototypes and studies. CP Motors managed to get all the components and chopped a Paris blue down and installed all of what you...
