I know this is one of the most highly sought-after items...and this is already the 3rd time i'm trying to get one! the one i replaced not so long ago, well, it broke..yet again! Even though i am still waiting for a scorching summer and with the rain at the moment it may not seem that urgent for now!...

yep that's right, i put mine through MOT earlier and the test guy didn't seem to take notice of those DRL ( i've never been able to make them equal brightness so eventually i took both of them out) and the important result was my car just sailed through the test :) Did have my wondering on that befo...

Drag Coefficient
does anyone know the official figure of the drag coefficient of 480? i imagine it should be rather low. And how big the difference does it make between pop-ups being up/down? I do like my pop-up in down position (for as long as the day permits!). I always think the sleeky front looks cool and specia...

Knight Think i do need a replacement to my driver's side window. My cable is knackered/snapped and reeled into the motor and window no longer goes up/down and just making a crunching sound. Sorry if i sound thick, but just wonder when you say the window motor/regulator - does that mean the entire me...

steering wheel misaligned
Not so long ago I’ve had the Kwik-Fit people to do the wheel tracking (as they recommended me doing it so I thought ok why not). As it turns out though, it’s worse than before!! - the car goes straight (not pulling to the left/right or anything) but the steering wheel doesn’t, it’s off-centr...

side panel respray
hi all
I want to have my rear side panel resprayed and dents repaired, does anybody have any idea how much it would cost roughly?
Thanks!

hi....is there any pre-warning/abnormal noise you would hear from the bonnet whilst driving prior to timing belt due to fail?? if not, what could be any suggestions if I notice a fairly faint but high-pitch/ish whirring sound from the front? (almost like bad CDs spinning and stuck in CD drives but c...

Would I probably be one of the youngest too!!??)Never have met anyone so surely I'm a new face  Indeed I don't think I ever saw too many 480s round the NE area either so that all sounds...

Just that I would post mine onto this thread instead of starting a new one...subject is the same: my car refused to start! (again!) :( I said "again", because it happened 2 weeks ago and i thought it's the battery, so I replaced it with a new one. Car started straight away, had it run for a couple o...

Noise under braking
recently whenever I depress the brake pedal, I can hear some very noticable "glocking" sound coming from the rear wheels..the rhythm goes synchoronised with the speed until the car comes to a halt.
Is that brake problem? Or something worn out from rear suspension more like?

I had to do the same thing before And I managed to get the blade out by using a bit of force (pulling to your right if I remember correctly...) ermm...sorry about this rather retard-sounding question, but where do I find the "Big 3" connections and earths?? Oh and the other day, I accidentally stalled the engine while reverse parking (yeah...schoolboy error :wall: ) Strangely a lot of smoke came out from front bonnet and smelt some rubbery ...
