Not sure what they did to the brakes exactly! It was related to the handbrake i think, all it says on that bill is rectify brake inbalance? Oh and free light laden valve?! Double dutch to me heh heh! Strange whirring noise mystery!

Hopefully someone can shed some light on this problem. Every time I turn of the ignition, there is a whirring sound from the engine bay lasting roughly 23 secs. Same length of time every time and it happens every time no matter what the engine temp...even when cold. It seemed to begin after the last...

The guy selling it is a bit of a tosser. He sold a nice looking black M plate a while back, i asked him a couple of quite reasonable questions and his reply was......well, i'll be polite and say cheeky as fukc!! You just need to read his description to get the idea :wink:

Last time it was on ebay was the back end of last year....The guy selling it then listed all the problems and it was a seriously long list! £50 quid or so start price and it didn't even sell.

We had a fair bit of snow here...quite heavy but it didn't stick around for long. None the less, a wee dusting of snow on Edinburgh's roads and the whole place grinds to a halt!! :lol:

Ah well, perhaps you're rght....i did think it surprising someone would have half inched it! Wish it had come out somewhere when i could have found it and re-attached it though!! Could swop one from the other car as might treat the Turb to a brand new set :D

Hmmmm....started reading this post and was definately swung towards removing the red stripes from my es....now i've reached the end , i'm not so sure! :? Would probably need to see a pic of one done to make a final decision!....

Came out yesterday to swop the front clusters over between my cars and discovered the glass completely gone from my ES's n/s long range driving lamp! :badmood: No broken bits of glass in evidence so begs the question , what happened?!! Can't believe it simply fell out, think it may have been assiste...

Welcome :) Just a small point for you, the rear wiper should avtivate itself when reverse gear is engaged and the front wipers are on at the same time....it's a nice wee feature...if it works! That aside...could be a problem :?

It was certain it was gonna happen sometime! Thankfully, Ikea car park was pretty empty at the time so all is well :) Lucky the handbrake is pretty good! I'll just say now...that's the last time it's getting left in gear!!

Leaving it out of gear is something i'm gonna learn pretty quickly! Only just back from picking the car up from Murf.....why not, try the remote start....well, you can guess the rest :lol:

Place i took it to was a council depot, they don't actually do the repairs so have no need to dream up problems to make themselves cash! It seemed a good idea at the time but now...hmm...not so sure :?
