Re: 340 B18FT project breaking, Richmod

Hi James, I really wouldn't suggest this shell for your project, you have to be a 300 nutter to take it on. Realistically, most 300 shells will need a bit of TLC though, worth bearing in mind. You might find the intercooler I have there of use, it is correct size to fit through the 300 front panel w...

340 B18FT project breaking, Richmod

Hey all, after a lot of thinking, I've decided I don't have drive currently to finish my B18FT project 340, my 16 valve one is doing everything it can to stop me having a second project car. I won't just cross post my for sale ad from the VOC/V3M as I'm sure there is a lot less interest in 300 shell...

Re: clio 197 -- 480 es

A few of the 340 guys (inc me) are running clio engines, though all I know of are the earlier versions of that engine (F7P/R's rather than F4R's) I'm trying to remember how the engine mounts were done on my turbo, but the hardest part for us is making up an exhaust ;) The later engines have a chain ...

White Pop-ups

Right, after moving yet again, I've found these in my garage and it seems silly to keep moving them! These are from my white '89 Turbo and where working fine when they were removed but have been off the car for 18months or so. http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2641/4103125683_d5c510c5d1_b.jpg http://fa...

I've had a load more interest than I expect from overseas guys, I'll post here what I've been putting in PM's! I've not dealt with shipping things of this size before, so tbh have no idea where to start with finding someone to take them abroad. If you guys can arrange a courier, I'll do everything I...

Right, finally found the lead... clicky pictures for bigger pics, sorry they are cameraphone quality. Pennies I've mentioned in pm's has been around £75, as they arn't common as you all know. I've never tried to put a set of wheels in a postbox, but postage extra, collection is lots easier ;) Whe...

FS: Set of 4 Vega's, with centre caps.

Right, now I've got you all excited, I need to mention the downside. I've been driving on these for a while, until I hit a pot hole recently. As you can guess this hasn't done great things to one of the wheels. There used to be a new one on ebay but I've not been able to find it recently, so maybe o...

Ted, the carb on the 1.7 is completely different to that on the 1.4. The 1.4 carb is very very reliable, and if it's never had a rebuild gasket kits are only about 20quid. It's the 1.7 carbs that can warp if treated badly, there was a weber replacement made but these are even worse as things were le...

Only custom part on there is the exhaust manifold, and it will need a custom downpipe too. Redblock turbo's are slightly easier to do, but I was attached to that car (a...

They are the ones shown half way down in this thread . Stamped with Ronal and Volvo, the spoke design looks identical, so guessing Haas used them, but must have been used elsewhere too? They are in dire need of a refurb but the face is cut, polished then lacquered, so will have to wait for a bit. ht...
