Is it the diff or 5th gear Syncro???

Hi guys long time since i've posted here since getting out of 480's for a long time. You guys seem to be the only ones with enough experience of the 400's gearbox foibles. I was driving a recently aqquired (half way through 1st tank of fuel) 460 TD. I kinda missed the change from 4th to 5th, It crun...

FOR SALE - Genuine Volvo parts

Jeez been a long time since i've posted on the forum due to having sold my 480 quite a few years ago to go back to playing with 740's and 940's. I recently bought a box of New Old stock volvo parts as it had some rare parts for my 740 in it. They wouldnt sell separtaltey so I had to buy the job lot,...

I just read through all the posts on here, and there doesnt seem to be much talk about it but apparantley Someone on the VOC website is selling Number 480 of the celebrations for around 2k.

Perhaps someone wants to do a bit of digging and confirm the true identity of no 480.

I know this release is for the 1.4 Volvo 340's so not relevant for this forum, but if you have any more information in your basement, i would appreciate it and so would quite a few 300 owners i've shown your original post to.

These are not! Hausser alloys ! This nice set of wheels was sold in Germany as a original Volvo wheel. 7J15, and the biggest tire had the size 215/40 :D Nice 360, the handling is hot. Put a B230FT from a 740 Turbo in it and the car burns everything....... :hopping: Yes your quite right, my mate did...

Was there a celebration run for the 440 460 range as I saw one on Auto Trader recently - just wondering if the seller was trying their luck or if it's genuine. My Brother has a 460 ES TD. This was the special edition which was the run out for the car, came with lots of goodies, Sports Suspension, s...

There has been a couple for sale on ebay recently, going quite cheap, seems that not many people are keen on them.

If i was going 780, i'd get the italian marker 2.0 16v Turbo version.

You could really make that sing when tuned.

But saying that 8v's can still make good power

I would say its kinda Genuine, the Tacho with the gears checkout.
Speed is very decpetive especially on a road like that where its just straight with no landmarks either side.

I filmed this when i was at a RWYB day at the pod, the guy has some balls.

We've filmed it before concentrating on the speedo and then going by the WMP time counter its around the 6 second mark. Other times i've measured it with my stopwatch in the car and come up with 6 or 7 seconds. Until i get it accuratley measured i'll just 6-7 seconds. Of course the key to a good 0-6...

I think the main reasons the Gtech is sometimes hailed as unreliable is that unless you've recently weighed your car, you won't get semi accurate results. As if i recall correctly it takes into account the weight of the car in the caluctaltions it does, could be wrong on that front. Its still a hand...

Today cars are just so bland and there is nothing really ...

Strange Petrol Prices at Sainsburys

Any body elses Sainsburys doing this? Went to fill up with Super Unleaded and was suprised that it was the same price 82.9 Per litre as Normal Unleaded. I even asked the assistant to ensure i hadnt just bought regular unleaded due to a cock up of them filling the wrong tank. She confirmed nope it wa...

I think it would be far simpler to just drop in a Corrado G60 Lump. With the right mods. I.e Stage 4 Charger, chip, pulley, mildly worked over head, you'll be around the 220-240bhp mark. And the sound of that charger is to die for. Anyway let the :kill: ing begin, i know i was shot down many years a...
