Well off topic now, but you can put a VR6 in a Metro and it's still a Metro imo. For me the beauty of a car is in the bodywork aswell as the mechanics.
As for Nirex, I'm glad you've finally got in touch fella, but one of our members is still £50 out of pocket and in the meantime had to go buy the parts elsewhere as he needed them asa for an mot.
Out of courtesy I would have contacted him to see if they'd arrived ok, and as for the not being online, I note you've been posting plenty on the RTOC over the past month?
Might have just been bad timing rather than management, but 'pack mentallity' it wasn't, just like in your original locked post, a lot of people just have the same opinion, that's all, and I'm just expressing mine and no-one elses. At 33yrs old I don't need to.
If I thought it was going to take upto 6months to sort, I'd refund the guy in the meantime as the problem isn't his end. You'd probably find people would have a lot more respect for you then. As you said, you were only going to scrap the minty 480 anyway so what have you lost? As your a representative for the RTOC I think it would be a nice gesture?

They did make the Metro 6R4... but the only parts that were actually a "metro" as you know it was the front and rear light clusters. Funny how people would still regard it as a metro, when it's no more metro than our 480 is a Renault.
I think you have a good point there on those calipers, if they were going to scrap, then why not refund? £50 for some worn calipers heading for the scrappy... you got a good price there

I was about to give up on this topic really when it all started kicking off but it seems to have evened out now. As Stu I am still out of pocket having to spend £32 on a new caliper and £25 on a window motor. Cash this month is getting hard so I would really like a refund, the post office will give you yor money back when they have finished their investigation.
Thanks
Adam

500ft tall ... thats taller than the tallest tree ever reported!!
The Tallest Tree known to have existed is an Australian Eucalyptus at Watts River, Victoria in Australia. It was reported in 1872 to measure 435 feet tall. (fact for the day)

This thread is going way
The problem now is my PMs are being ignored so this seems the only way to get ones attention.
Nirex has been posting on the forum daily but like I said my PMs are being ignored. I would like either a refund of proof of postage, if you have been in touch with the post office then you will get your money back but like I said I am left with noting except a hole in my wallet.
Didn’t really want to do this but when all else fails

funny you should ask:
Deepest Roots. The greatest reported depth to which a tree's roots have penetrated is 400 feet by a Wild Fig tree at Echo Caves, near Ohrigstad, Mpumalanga, South Africa.
(thats the last one ... i promise)
