I am not a fan of modding cars, but I must say, already this is shaping up to be something really special. It reminds me of some group B Homologation car, or maybe this:

Or an ST165 Celica

Either way, it looks like it came from the 80s still, and gets my thumbs up! :hopping:

Good to see the adjustable torque rods for the first time. They are quite beefy in comparison to OE!
seriously beefier, lots of addition to unsprung weight

I need to pull my finger out and order a windscreen because at this rate, there'll be none left!
shouldn't need to worry, I cracked the screen on the SS1, ex-stock for clear, eight weeks for tinted, I was worried the crack would go straight up as it had cracked four inches in one short drive (heading diagonally across my view) so opted for tinted

in the week to arrange an appointment it never went further I wish I'd waited for tinted :-(

PS only 1400 ever built, so I'd reckon OK for 480? :hopping:

Unfortunately, I am unable to keep on with this project.

New life direction and moving to the south UK. Space, time and freedom come at a premium... Ive not touched this in over 4 years now.

I have the entire thing listed on Facebook 480 UK page if anyone wants to check out some of the photos. A bargain fast track to a nice shell and engine going for a fraction of the price.

Potentially inside the M25 dun dun duuuuu. £12.50 a day to drive it around - Scammy ULEZ

Pushing for Crawley or Lewes (near Brighton) depends. I've got a year really before it all happens.

My 1/480 celebration is going also, it's being sold back to the original owner.

Space and garages at an ultra-premium the more south lol

This has saddened me somewhat. Really sorry to hear the project has essentially collapsed.

Project cars are a real ball & chain. Despite all the hours, they are still worthless in the grand scheme of things until they get over the line. Tell me about it.

Best wishes for the move and I sincerely hope someone is found with the vision, skills and finances to get this car where it deserves to be.
