New Forums
As I’m sure most of you have notice by now we have two new areas on the forum.
The Dear Diary section is for any member to keep a log of maintenance, mods etc, anything to do with their 480. Daniel has made a special set of rules for this forum that are separate from the universal charter.
Every user can start 1 thread on this forum. No more than that. Every time you come back, even if that were to be after a year, you use your initial thread to make a new reply. By making a reply it will re-emerge to the top of this forum.
Only the 'owner' of the diary can make replies in his thread. If you wish to ask a question to the diary-keeper you can start a new thread in the forum fitting the subject and perhaps send a PM to the diary-keeper informing him of that new thread
If anyone other than the OP posts on the thread the post will be removed, however The OP will be PMd with the post first.
The How To Manuals Forum which I know a lot of people have been asking for is for any kind of walkthrough guide, from changing the oil to changing the engine. This forum is subject to the universal Charter
So I think a thank you is in order for Daniel for giving us these new forums, have fun posting in them!

something else to suggest...
maybe a suppliers/dealers forum...people can post a good or bad dealer, parts supplier etc, and then people can add their comments in either good or bad?
just a thought that occurred after reading this thread.....

http://volvo480.dragons.org.uk/forum/vi ... hp?t=13837 Feel free to add the garages/suppliers you think are good. If the list gets big enough I can always make it a sticky.

Improvements to this forum have taken another step forward with the addition of another forum. Many expressed an interest in having a ‘Spotted’ forum to post about other 480s they had seen on their travels, well now you have one I'll be going through a few pages tomorrow and move any spotted threads to this new forum.
Enjoy

Ok folks, after a discussion by forum moderators and admins it was thought that posting adverts for non 480 stuff in the wastegate wasn’t really the best thing for sellers as threads quickly disappeared in the bowls of the forum, with that in mind a new forum has been created for users to post adds for anything not 480 related.
