I've managed, rather cleverly, to organise my posting so that..

THIS IS MY 500th POST...

Thus I enter the new year with the ridiculous 'rookie' tag FINALLY
banished. Time to find out what I become now.

As the owner of a show winning 480,having broken one car and
completely rebuilt two cars. I have a far better than average
understanding of the mark. So I frankly expect to be something
far more significant than a flippin rookie

Can't wait to find out...

My (thus far) limites research tells me upon getting another 98 posts
under my belt I shall become an '480 Expert'

Unless some clever Mod decides to bring an end to this suffering early!

We've decided that this year we are not going to indulge the madness
of a NYE party so have the eldest daughter and grandson round for a
quiet celebration of seeing the back of a rather crappy year and
welcoming in the new hopefully rather better one!

Plenty of time and beer... Has anyone ever posted 98 posts in four
hours before?

Very true!

I gotta be honest, it seems like Cerby is always dishing out advice, so I was very shocked to see the post count when he first bought up the issue! It seems like he is always posting and I think your post count, in true 480 fashion, is working intermittently (bit like my speedo) Cerb...

I don't think you guys get it... I really don't...

I answer way more than I ask on here... I log in every day and see
what I can help with. I've physically rebuilt 480's for people to keep
them on the road. I've installed a prize winning carpc setup.

Rookie... I'm not a rookie by any stretch of the imagination.

If a mod wants to see me set a land speed record for deleting an account
then they can feel free to change me to "rookie forever".

I 'get' a lot less from this place than I 'give'

Getting bored now...
