Do You Remember This

Some things just can't be placed elsewhere. Have you been speeding and got fined? Or spotted a nice new Volvo on the web somewhere? All non-480 messages can be posted in this part of the board.

Do You Remember This

Post by C6REW » Sat Feb 03, 2007 10:49 am

Hi Guys,

Long time no speak or meet, do you remember this:

Ah those where great times.

We have moved on a bit since the 480 days and currently own this beast:

The engine is a little larger than the 480, 7 1/2 litre V8 petrol. Costs £350 to fuel her up! But a great bit of kit.

It was talking on our motorhome forum www.motorhomefacts.com that made me think about you guys again.

Became a grandaddy at long last a few months ago, here is a picture of the said lad with a few of my staff:

OK only kidding they where a wonderful group we saw at charity do in Chippenham. No idea if they could sing or not!

Don't forget that I have always said if you guys are passing Claire, Eleanor and I would be happy to see you. Devizes is not that far away.

Best regards

Chris
ps Still got an office loft full of the stripped down 480 if anyone wants them before they go to the scrappy

Hi Chris and Family!

Great to see you on here again!

What a beautiful looking motorhome-with a proper engine too!Have you covered much ground in her yet?

Yep,that party you had in 2004 was brill.I will always remember your consideration towards my somewhat fragile state back then.

If yer any kind of proper 480er you'll no doubt have one again whether now or in the distant future.Mind you...if you have one again soon you wont have to pay top price when the values DO flippin go up!LOL!

I'll always pop in if Im near you,Gods sake I went all the way to Cornwall to pick up leather last year so its highly likely !;-)

Hi Guys,

Good to hear from you and good to see the site still doing well.

Made a promise to Claire that if I bought a motorhome I would sell the last toy car!

Struggled with not wanting to sell it, you may recall it was one of the last Rover 820 Vitesse Coupe's.

So in the end I gave it to my Brother, at least I still get to see it now and then!

Had a great evening with friends singing at the top of our voices so now off too bed.

Regards

Chris
