Rear Washer Jet

Cleaned up the garage and found some parts you want to sell? Or are you looking for that one part? You can advertise or request just about anything that has to do with the Volvo 480 in here: brochures, towing-hooks, antenna's, etc etc...

Rear Washer Jet

Post by Dan the 480 Man » Tue Mar 14, 2006 11:25 pm

Hi!

I bought a brand spanking new one just after christmas. I was driving down the road, and i thought 'ooh, that rear window looks a little dirty, let me give it a quick squirt'.... "Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.....pop'...

:dunno:

Stopped and got out, and the bloody top half (the triangle bit) had just popped off  The traffic was too busy to crawl along looking for it, so i came back later when it was quiet...i found it, but it was all squashed and broken. Bugger.

Anybody got a spare?

There is one on ebay uk
Knows that tidal pools are standard with every 480 you buy, as are skating rings in winter.

Dan, just get a new one from Volvo main dealer, they're even cheaper than the new one advertised on Ebay!

Think I paid around a fiver just before Christmas @Rybrook Volvo.

Cheers for that Stu...

I just presumed Volvo would charge an arm and a leg. I gave them a call and they're sending me one over Monday afternoon at a cost of £7.40.

Got the MOT soon so i was just kinda desperate for one...

Rear washer is not needed for mot. Only need the front washers. I quite like taking the rear washer nozzle off when i go driving with my friends and get in front of them and spray them! A good little water cannon...
