DRL bulb holder

Cleaned up the garage and found some parts you want to sell? Or are you looking for that one part? You can advertise or request just about anything that has to do with the Volvo 480 in here: brochures, towing-hooks, antenna's, etc etc...

DRL bulb holder

Post by jamesy12345 » Tue Oct 07, 2014 9:14 pm

Does anyone have any Day Running Light bulb connector/holders. I seem to have an odd pair on my car...I'm looking for the one that suits 21/4 watt bulbs - the BAZ15d socket

It looks like this one on the left...

Thanks!

The pop-ups still work on Pollution, but have you noticed how the headlights are on all the time, even when down?

Hopefully cured by new drls! ;)

Hi

I to had a problem with a DRL bulb holder that on my 480 burnt out ( upon removal i found that someone had forced a different type of bulb into the holder - non off set and dispite it working for over a year it finally gave up and shorted out)

However just incase any member is looking for such an item i purchased a new one from Skandix for 19 EUR, postage from this supplier is expensive at 20.23 eur for what ever but at least they have some of these somewhat rare items - in addition to this i also purchased my pop up light hinges from them which again are hard to find.

Their website is well worth a visit

Regards

Dennis

Understandable but as mine was not working at all i felt 40 euros was better than a fixed penalty !!!

Dorset Police are hot on motorist and will stop you for any small infringement

Would anyone else happen to have one or both of these DRL bulb holders for sale ? We are currently going through bulbs like there's no tomorrow.
