White 480 turbos on eBay x 3

Cleaned up the garage, found parts laying around, but it turned out to be a complete Volvo 480? If you want to sell your car (480 only) you can place an advert here.

Well done on getting a good price. :D

I will be preping a turbo for sale in the next few weeks myself . It wont be perfect but then I wont be looking for top dollar either. Need to mot it . Up here we can get a mot test done for only £19.95 . It passed last year but the new regs will be interesting ;) .

Its a black M reg with a robou mod . Comes with either blacked out rear windows and hatch or clear (will fit to suit ) lowered 40mm with special wheels.

Hi Glasgow Jim,

How will I know the 480 is ready for sale - will you be posting it here? Will there be good photos before a trip up north I presume.

Secondly, the new MOT regs (like airbag lamp, inner drive shaft gaitors, tyre pressure monitoring etc) are all in the Mot handbook, but they have been withdrawn. They must only be advisories at this stage. They have been revoked due to some EU hick up. Slightly ironic as the new stuff was brought in for better allignment with EU Mots especially the TUV. Im still awaiting a technical bulletin from VOSA to see when they return; if ever. So, nothing to worry about as yet. This is the way I understand it.

Regards, Jay.

Pretty unique alloys TSWs no longer made.

Made in the machine shop at RAF Leuchars, a set of custom Hubcentric wheel spacers , 10mm per wheel, military aircraft grade alloy ( pretty cool ) and swapped to a studs and bolts so much easier getting wheels on and off.

There seem to be more and more of these people on ebay now, I tend to read a good few adds and the number that are relisted due to buyer defaulting seem to be increasing.

I know what you mean guys, the amount of time people end up relisting their cars is almost unreal!
Why do people even bother bidding if they can't pay?!

I agree about eBay, i sell quite alot on there, last week I sold my gf's KA and its amazing how many time wasters and chancers there are. It wasn't an expensive car around £600 got several offers of £100 which was less than scrap value. I did eventually sell it though so there are still some genuine buyers out there!

Anytime I have bought from down south I have contacted the seller straightaway and let them know my travel plans confirmed that they are happy with this then booked the megabus or train and emailed the seller a copy of my booking and itinery. Oh and I texted them when I left Glasgow to reassure them that I was on my way. So far no problems .

I feel sorry for the sellers who have been hit this way through no fault of their own.
