There's a monthly all comers meet just off junction 3 of the M42
once a month that the wifey and I usually go to....

Perhaps all us midlands 480'ers could arrange to all get to one?

Next one is the 13th Jan...

But I'm already booked to be in Bristol that weekend.

Next after that is 10th Feb...

Anyone up for the 10th?? A mini 480club meetup? I'm sure the organisers
wouldn't mind...

If people are up for it I'll give the event organisers a bell and see if they
can set us aside a bit of carpark for the 10th Feb??

It's an all comers meet... fairly relaxed sort of thing...

Bring along something classic and end up parked with all the other classics.
(So I'll see if we can't have a bit of car park to ourselves)
Cars end up parked along a short road and in a small car park
At the end of the road in a burger van so you can get a cupotea.

Other than that there's not much to do other than look at nice cars
and have a chat wi mates...

Once we've had a wander round the cars and a catchup with a few folks
we usually head off... So I guess it depends what you want to do.

There's definately no chavvy burnout type activity.. put it that way...
*wink*

Would be good to get a bit of a display of 480's together I recon...
Someone else can bring the plastic chairs and sandwiches...

would this be at the britanic insurance?

I usally attend with the 480 to this along with bear in his 480 and a few mates and family. Is good with some truely awsome cars turning out especially in the summer.

the mrs always shouts about the cost of tyres

so the 10th it is then

time to get my car waxed ( try to hide the dulling of the paint work

) and get the stereo all nice to look at

Yep, But at least rubber troosers keep ya nice n warm under yr overalls!!

Esta I think you will defo get away with rocking up in the XR. There was a
tidy orange XR2i there the other month. (brought back memories)

I'l have a word with the organising blokeys and make sure everything
is cool for having a meet 'inside' their meet. Can't think they will mind
but it seems fair to give them a heads up.

10th it is then.. I'll post location details and anything else you'all will
need once i've spoken to the organisers!?!

I'd Better get them spanners twirling...

The 'South Midlands Monthly Classic Transport Meet'

Resolution/Britannic Assurance PLc

Sunday 10th February 11am till 3pm

When you enter the gates you will be directed to either the classics
park or the moderns. (depending on what you are driving!!)

To get us all parked together it's probably easiest if we all park in the
classic car park as opposed to along the side road that they also
queue classics up on.

Once through the gates head right at the roundabout and then turn
right into the main car park. Head to the end of the car park
and park with the other 480's (I'll try to get there right at the begining
and blag a nice section of car park for us to congregate in)
The organsiers are happy for us to all park up together

The guys on the gate 'should' be expecting us and are usually really
helpful happy chappies so I'm sure they will guide you if you are a bit
lost when you arrive.

If anyone needs more info please post here or drop me a PM and
I'll endevour to help.

We will take the two tone for sure and possibly the turbo as well (if it's
a runner by then...!)
