Cool, sounds like there's a lot of people interested.
Shouldn't we organize a poll in order to decide :
1) WHERE will the meeting take place ?
2) WHEN will the meeting take place ?
3) WHAT are the different things you would like to see/do during this W-E.
Once the 'where' and 'when' questions will be answered, it will be time to focus on finding a proper accomodation for that week-end.
As I'm not very familar with the forum, can one of the admin open a new poll to see what the members would prefer to do ?

The meeting will be taking place during the pentecost-weekend (pinksteren / pfingsten) 2006. Location has yet to be determined and activities are quite roughly:
- touring
- dining together
- partsmarket
- live music
- ...
It's all quite basic still but keep an eye on your mailbox as everyone will be informed about this grand meeting that way!

So if I understand it well, the europe meeting will organize its proper meeting without te participation of other clubs ?
Whoever said : " A Volvo cannot be tuned ?!? "

Hi Bakke,
no, you misunderstood. The Germans have taken the initiative a few Months ago and contacted us to see if we were interested in a joint venture. Our aim is to organise a huge Volvo 480 meeting together with all other Volvo 480 clubs from Europe.
We still have to sit around the table with the Germans to see what they have in mind for the meeting and to vent our opinions of what should be done those days. And we also have to discuss how we will get all the clubs from Europe involved in this without creating a mess. At this moment I have no idea how things will proceed, our first step is to start the dialogue with the Germans.

Sorry for my short absence, a very bad flu took me a couple of days down .
Der-kleine-Elch had some ideas how to integrate all the clubs into
one big meeting. At the end of October we come together to write
things down. After that its best to meet with Daniel and the board
to discuss everything and to start with advertising and marketing
for the event.
So stay tuned
Greetings fantomaz

Does this include the cabriolet. I would like to see the engineering drawings for that with a view to redesign (if necessary) for cost effective kit.I live half a mile from the building where the 480 was drawn....
Also i think I can get in contact with the people whom have drawn the 480 ???
